Jen Modi joins Barrier Networks as Regional Sales Director
Glasgow, UK – August 26, 2026 – Barrier Networks, a specialist provider of managed cyber security services for enterprises and critical national infrastructure organisations, today announced that Jen Modi has joined its team as Regional Sales Director.
In her role, Jen will be based in London and will work to bring more of Barrier’s managed security services to organisations across the UK.
As advanced AI continues to amplify and accelerate threat activity, organisations are increasingly looking to partner with experts to deliver round-the-clock security operations across their environments without burdening their own internal resources.
“I’m delighted to be joining Barrier Networks at such an exciting stage in its growth. The cyber security challenges facing organisations are becoming more complex, particularly as they manage growing volumes of data, expanding supply chains and an evolving AI-powered threat landscape”, said Jen Modi, regional sales director at Barrier Networks.
“Barrier has built a strong reputation for combining deep technical expertise with a very practical approach to helping customers manage risk. I’m looking forward to building on that reputation in the south, developing new relationships and helping more organisations strengthen their resilience.”
A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), Jen brings 22 years of business development experience, including 16 years specialising in information security, data protection, third-party risk management and compliance. Having worked across the public and private sectors in the UK, EMEA and South Africa, Jen has extensive experience helping government and enterprise organisations strengthen cyber resilience and improve their data security and privacy posture.
Barrier Networks is one of the UK's leading managed cyber security providers, helping enterprises and operators of critical infrastructure identify, manage and reduce cyber risk. Its AI-powered Security Operations Centre provides continuous threat monitoring and incident detection, while its cyber risk technical assessments and incident response services help organisations strengthen resilience and prepare for emerging threats.
“Jen’s appointment is an important part of our strategic expansion across the UK and strengthens our ability to help more organisations address increasingly complex cyber security challenges. Her experience working with some of the world’s largest cyber security vendors gives her a deep understanding of advanced security technologies and how they can be applied to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers. That expertise will be invaluable as we expand our reach, develop trusted relationships and help our customers reduce risk, strengthen resilience and gain greater value from their security investments,” said Ian McGowan, Managing Director at Barrier Networks.
